Growing up without a television, Howard Davis always enjoyed outdoor activities. After graduating from Indiana University, he moved to Breckenridge, Colorado so he could ski. While skiing competitively for Team Breckenridge, Howard noticed an opportunity in the marketplace for comfortable, stylish outerwear. He began to envision an outerwear company that could serve a practical purpose — make fashionable outerwear with strong quality and design. He wanted to attract a customer that wanted a “sporty chic” look without compromising comfort and style.

As most homegrown businesses do, Wooly Bully Wear™ started small. Howard flew home to visit his parents in Arizona and returned with a sewing machine in hand. After learning how to sew, he made fleece hats for friends, testing to determine if the goods were something others would buy. Today, he’s running a full-fledged outerwear company based in Denver.

Wooly Bully Wear™ has focused its target market to offer fleece jackets, coats and vests to women who seek sporty fashion in soft, cozy fabrics. Wooly Bully Wear™ is now available in better specialty stores throughout the nation.
